FB Group Lead Collector (“the Extension”) is a Chrome browser extension developed by sjpknight ltd. This privacy policy outlines what data is collected, how it is used, and your rights as a user.

1. Information We Collect

The Extension collects the following information solely for the purpose of its functionality:

Publicly Available Facebook Profile Data: This includes the names, profile URLs, job titles/descriptions, and friendship statuses of Facebook group members.
User-provided Google Script URL: This is the URL you input to allow syncing of leads to your own Google Sheets account.

We do not collect:

Health, financial, or payment information
Authentication credentials (passwords, tokens, etc.)
Personal communications (emails, messages, chats)
Location data (IP address, GPS, etc.)
Web history or browsing behavior
Any user activity such as clicks, mouse movements, or keystrokes

2. How We Use Your Information

The data collected is used exclusively for the purpose of displaying Facebook group member leads within the extension UI and allowing you to sync them to a Google Sheet via your own Apps Script.

All data stays within your browser unless you explicitly sync it to your linked Google Sheet.

3. Data Storage and Sharing

No data is stored on any third-party servers.
Data is temporarily stored in your browser’s local and sync storage.
Data is never sold, shared, or transferred to sjpknight ltd or any external service.

4. Permissions Justification

The extension requests the following permissions:

storage: To save your Google Script URL and temporary scan results.
scripting and activeTab: To inject scripts that scan the Facebook group page.
host_permissions: To access Facebook group pages for data extraction.

These permissions are required only to perform the functions you explicitly initiate (scanning and syncing).

5. Data Control

You remain in full control of your data:

You decide when to scan leads.
You choose whether to sync them to your Google Sheet.
You can delete all data by clearing extension storage in your browser.
